theWISP.net uses top of the line hardware to build its own Equipment. The Customers antenna is built per order, with specific specifications, to meet our Customers needs.

The Wideband Access Panel (WAP) 3700+HPG is the Customers antenna that is mounted outside of the Customers home or business. The WAP is aproximatly 8 "x10" square, and 3 " deep.

All antennas are connected to the Customers computer via UV resistent, underground rated Category 5e cable. This cable not only provides data connection, but it also powers the antenna.

An ethernet card is needed in the Customers computer to connect to the antenna. However, most computers purchased in the past 3 years may already have an ethernet card installed. If not, a WISP.net agent may install this card for the Customer.
